lowara Logo The Tanks Direct Single cold water domestic & commercial booster set is a multistage pump, controlled by an energy efficient inverter drive which constantly adjusts the speed of the pump as demand varies or where there are large fluctuations in demand.

Our booster sets use WRAS Aproved Lowara Pumps.

If the supply of water fails during operation the pump automatically shuts down to prevent damage and re-starts again once water is restored.

Flanged tank connectors manufactured from PVC.

Two ranges available:
Standard duty back-nut type which are fitted to the tank with a hexagon nut inside and outside the tank wall. This type of tank connector are suitable for most applications.

The range is available from 1/2" up to and including 4".

Fully flanged type which are fitted to the tank with heavy duty internal and external flanges which are secured to the tank wall with M12 stainless steel fixings. Fixings and sealant are supplied. This type of tank connector enables a more secure seal to the tank wall and is suitable for more industrial applications.

The range is available from 2" up to and including 12".

All supplied complete with EPDM gasket, stub flange and galvanised steel backing ring drilled to NP16 configuration. The stub flange is supplied loose, requiring a solvent cement joint to be made by others.

A range of quality high flow rate Float Valves which are simple and robust and can reliably self-compensate for changes in water supply pressures.

One size of seat and one size of ball float will suit any working pressure up to the maximum recommendation of 5bar.

Even at these pressures the seat combined with the hydraulically balanced closing action gives fast, quiet and smooth shut-off.

Valves are available in 1/2” to 4” sizes with BSP male threaded inlet stub.

Water leak detection is widely used for a host of different applications and in many different environments. The principle behind this technique for water leak detection is based on the conductivity that exists in water. Using a sensor tape, probe or pad it’s possible to cover large areas that are sensitive to water leaks. Each sensor type has two conductors kept apart by an insulator. As soon as water bridges the gap between the conductors an alarm is triggered.

Water leak detection is the method used to determine a problem with a plumbing system resulting in an escape of water. Water leak detection has become a standard in many industries protecting data centres, comms rooms, plant rooms, WC areas and kitchens.

More recent developments in water leak detection come by way of new systems of communication. It is now possible to connect a text message dialler to a water leak detection alarm panel and have it send a message as soon as leak occurs.

The LeakSaver has been specifically designed to help achieve the requirements for BREEAM WAT02 (consumption) and WAT03 (major leak detection). By installing a water meter at the boundary to the property and another where the mains cold water enters the building, both external and internal water leaks can be detected by the alarm panel. The system has been designed to allow the readings from the external water meter to be split, one part can be connected to the BMS for monitoring consumption (WAT02) and the other used by the LeakSaver to monitor for water leaks
