Product Overview
The 36 Litre Water Tank is a compact and versatile solution for the storage and transportation of potable water and a wide range of other compatible liquids.
Manufactured from durable MDPE / polyethylene, this rectangular water tank provides a nominal capacity of 36 litres, equivalent to approximately 7.9 gallons. Its compact dimensions and relatively low empty weight make it easy to handle and suitable for applications where a smaller water storage capacity is required.
The standard tank is supplied in a natural translucent finish, allowing the approximate water level to be viewed through the tank wall. This makes it easy to monitor the remaining contents without having to remove the lid.
The tank is supplied with a 3/4" BSP female outlet and a 6" sprung vented lid. Optional BSP outlet sizes and outlet positioning are available at additional cost, providing flexibility for different installations and applications.

Compact Design

Measuring approximately 290 mm wide, 430 mm long and 330 mm high, the tank can be installed in relatively restricted spaces where a larger tank would not be suitable.
At approximately 3 kg when empty, it is also relatively easy to handle and position before filling.

If you order a tank and find it is too big, too small, or unsuitable for your requirements, it can be expensive to return. Delivery charges
Our shipping costs cover most of the UK. However, parts of England, the Scottish Highlands and Islands (including areas north of the Glasgow / Edinburgh border), Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Anglesey, Western Isles, Shetland Islands, Orkney Islands, Isles of Scilly, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland may cost more.

All our tanks are available for collection ex works. Our suppliers are based all over the UK — please call if you wish to collect.
Overseas orders
International orders are welcome. Payment is by IBAN / SWIFT / BIC, MoneyGram and letters of credit. We regret that credit cards are not accepted for international orders.
A purchase order is required; we will then create a pro-forma invoice, and tanks are ordered on clearance of funds.
If you require additional export documentation — for example a Certificate of Origin, or commercial invoices certified by the Chamber of Commerce — you must notify us before completion of your order, as we will have to invoice cost and admin charges to the order.

Offloading
Unless a HIAB delivery has been booked at additional cost, it is the customer’s responsibility to offload with suitable equipment on the day of delivery. A failed delivery may result in additional charges.
We recommend that installers, plant hire and installation materials — excavators, aggregates and so on — are not booked until you are in receipt of the goods. Tanks Direct cannot be held responsible for costs incurred due to unforeseen delays; please see our terms for more details.
