Klargester BioAir 2 Sewage Treatment Plant for up to 6 People    

Utilising aerated technology to deliver a high level of water discharge quality, the new Klargester BioAir 2 is one of the most affordable domestic sewage treatment plants on the market today.

Suitable for shallow dig installations with flexible installation options, the Klargester BioAir 2 is designed with low level and low impact visual footprint. The BioAir 2 is also suitable for use in light duty traffic areas, although external structural design advice will be required before proceeding.

The BioAir Premium unit is supplied with a Control Panel, PPFDS Alarm, Beacon & High Level Alarm (IPS unit only), whilst the BioAir Economy model is supplied with an Isolator Switch and Failure light.

To ensure your system operates to maximum efficiency, we recommend tried and tested Commissioning by our own British Water and Safe Building trained engineers.

Our unrivalled knowledge means that we are best placed to carry out bespoke assessments to get your system up and running. The commissioning will also provide you with a unique checklist against your system, ensuring your complete peace of mind and reassurance that your system's mechanical and electrical components are in good working order.

The checks below will be carried out by a Kingspan Service Engineer and will only be checked if the unit has been installed in line with the provided installation guidelines.

• Check Plant is level, 5 mm tolerance
• Confirm the ground around the plant is level, flat and that the lid securely fastens
• Confirm the panel has been mounted correctly
• Make the required connections to the panel using correct glands
• Make all electrical connections within the tank
• Ensure all safety guards are fitted
• Set all greasomatics within the plant (if applicable)
• Check belt/chain tension and alignment
• Check pump float activates freely (pumped discharge only)
• Check operation of sludge return pump (nitrification plants only)
• Check direction of disc pack
• Check levels within unit
• Test and set any Alarms supplied with the unit

On completion, they will provide a site specific commissioning certificate

Offloading

Unless a hi-ab delivery has been booked at additional cost, it is the customer's responsibility to offload with suitable equipment on the day of delivery and a failed delivery may result in additional charges.

We recommend installers and/or plant hire & materials to install such as excavators, aggregates etc are not booked until you are in receipt of the goods. Tanks Direct cannot be held responsible for costs incurred due to unforeseen delays, please see our terms for more details.

HIAB

HIAB delivery will be required if you need the tank offloaded from the delivery vehicle. The driver will unload the tank from the vehicle to ground level, however this service is not to place the tank in situ, this will need to be arranged separately.

Please be aware that returning a tank can be complicated and expensive, so please check that you are ordering the correct item (we suggest checking the dimensions very carefully).

Once your request is approved, a valid Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) will be issued to initiate the returns process along with information on how & where to return your order along with any costs involved.
