The 2025 Farming Equipment and Technology Fund (FETF) is a government-backed initiative designed to support farmers and growers in England by providing financial assistance for purchasing equipment that enhances productivity, improves slurry management, and boosts animal health and welfare. With a total budget of £46.7 million, the fund offers grants ranging from £1,000 to £25,000 per theme, covering up to 40-50% of the cost of eligible equipment.

As ever the application process is competitive, meaning funding will be allocated to the highest-scoring applications. To qualify you must be registered with the Rural Payments Agency (RPA) and hold a valid Single Business Identifier (SBI) to apply.

This initiative aims to drive farming forward by equipping businesses with the tools necessary to adapt, compete, and grow in an evolving agricultural landscape. If you're interested, you can find more details on the official GOV.UK page.

Applications for the 2025 FETF open on 29 May and close at midday on 10 July 2025.
